

Dr. Wawire holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences (with bias in Soil Science) from the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), formerly, Szent Istvan University (SZIU)-Hungary; a Master of Science in Agricultural Information Communication Management, and Bachelor of Science Agricultural Education and Extension, from the University of Nairobi-Kenya.

Dr. Grace Nyakonyu Kamotho has been involved in collaborative research projects financed by various organizations including Seed for Life by National Museums of Kenya (NMK), Kirk House Trust-UK and National Research Fund – Kenya. She is currently a principal investigator (PI) of a research project on aflatoxin management in maize, and a co-investigator on research project on banana based food and feeds.

Dr Sheila a lecturer school of agriculture and biotechnology at Karatina University where she has been a faculty member since 2012. Dr Sheila Kilonzi holds a PhD degree in Food Science and Nutrition, Masters degree in Food Security and Rural Development, BSc degree in Food Science and Nutrition, and a diploma in Food Technology. These qualifications and training have exposed her to comprehensive knowledge of food science and nutrition.
